CAP Cohort Regional Kickoff

Southern Maine Planning and Development Commission (SMPDC) hoted the Climate Action Planning (CAP) Cohort Regional Kickoff on September 28th, 2022 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at Wells Reserve at Laudholm. This was an event to celebrate the launch of the CAP Cohort project with the Towns of Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Kittery, and the City of Biddeford, hear community members’ hopes for climate change action, and learn about the various ways local residents, community groups, business leaders, and other stakeholders can get involved.
The event included brief presentations by SMPDC and guest speakers about the importance of local climate action. Most importantly, the regional kickoff will be an opportunity for community members who are interested in participating in the planning process to meet, share their visions for the future, and learn more about how to get involved in climate action planning.
